Our study,
“Natural Occurrence of Primate SLAM-Adapted Canine Distemper Virus, Brazil, 2018,”
has been listed as an Early Release article on the website of Emerging Infectious Diseases (EID), a journal published by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), with its DOI and citation information now available.

In this study, we investigated cases of canine distemper virus (CDV) infection in free-ranging marmosets in Brazil and demonstrated that CDV adapted to efficiently use the primate SLAM (CD150) receptor has already emerged in nature.
